Upgrade your roughage?
06-02-2026Feeding sufficiently high-quality roughage (at least 1.5 - 2% of the horse’s body weight) is the foundation for a healthy horse life. Many horses lose weight in winter because they often don’t get enough protein from their roughage. For this, we have specially selected 3 roughage products in our range that upgrade the ration with extra proteins and structure.
HAVENS MIX (15 kg bag)
- Made of timothy grass, alfalfa, and a blend of linseed products
- Free from molasses, grains, and grain by-products
- A source of high-quality proteins (14%) and amino acids

HAVENS Fibre Dice (17.5 kg bag)
- Extra-large chunks of timothy grass, alfalfa, and dried apple pieces
- Low in starch and sugar and without the addition of molasses and grains
- Can be fed dry or soaked in water (recommended for (older) horses that have difficulty chewing)!
