HAVENS at Prix d'Amérique

The Prix d'Amérique is the most prestigious harness race in the world which is visited by over 60,000 spectators. The winner of this course takes home 500,000 Euro prize money.

The 5-year old Dutch horse Timoko – trained by the Dutch trotting trainer Richard Westerink who lives in France – lead this year’s race from start until about 150 meters before the finish. But with a swift sprint, he was overtaken by the 7-year old Ready Cash who won the race with a spectacular time of 1'12.0''. Ready Cash also won the Prix d'Amérique in 2011.
